Suståne 4-6-4
Turf Establishment & Soil Builder
Plant establishment accelerates with total plant nutrition from Suståne, supplying naturally chelated nutrients, carbon, humus and a diverse range of beneficial microbes. 4-6-4 has demonstrated through research to surpass other start-up fertilizers
Recommended Use
Suståne 4-6-4 is a specific all-purpose organic turf establishment and soil amendment fertilizer for use in all grow in pre-planting, seeding, sprigging, and turf installation projects.
Professional Grade
Suståne products are derived from biologically stable humus-rich compost and contain both water soluble nitrogen (WSN) and slow release nitrogen (SRN), beneficial microbiology, and all 17 elements essential for plant photosynthesis. With a near-neutral pH, a low salt index and low ammonium nitrogen percentage, Suståne will not cause seedling stress or plant fertilizer “burn”. Suståne products increase soil cation exchange capacity (CEC) by supplying humates and stable organic matter. Suståne’s organic and blended natural fertilizers provide all soil types with additional buffering capacity, allowing for more consistent and productive growth.
Benefits
- Adds approximately 5% humates by volume, increasing cation exchange and organic matter
- Increases nutrient and water holding capacity of the soil, strengthening plant tolerance to hot and dry conditions
- Promotes healthy root development
- Improves buffering against changes in soil pH
- Increases the soil’s ability to suppress plant pathogens
Turf Establishment
- Turf establishment accelerates with 4-6-4 All Natural Organic Fertilizer from Suståne.
- Suståne 4-6-4 has been demonstrated time and again to surpass synthetic turf starter fertilizers and other sources of humates and plant biostimulants. While synthetic fertilizers supply plant growth nutrients, they do not supply the organic matter required to maintain quality growth. Using fully composted natural fertilizers increases the levels of beneficial microbial activity, which in turn convert nutrients into plant available forms.
