ZeoVerde - Zeolite Clinoptilolite

ZeoVerde - Zeolite Clinoptilolite

High quality clinoptilolite zeolite, efficient in cation exchange and water retention.

  • ZeoVerde is a high-quality granulated clinoptilolite zeolite
  • This is a type of zeolite composed mainly of sodium, potassium and calcium aluminosilicates.
  • It has a very high Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC), usually between 150-200 meq/100g, making it effective at exchanging nutrients and adsorbing heavy metals.
  • It is widely used in landscaping, golf courses, agriculture, water treatment and construction. It is effective at removing ammonium and other toxic ions and is popular in filtration applications.
  • It has an excellent water retention capacity, helping to reduce the need for irrigation on agricultural soils and golf courses.
    -Available grain sizes - 0.6 - 1.5 mm, 1.5 - 3 mm, and 3 - 5 mm

  • PP sacks of 25 kgs. Pallets of 40 bags (1000 kgs). Bigbags of 1000kgs

Benefits

  • Improved Soil Structure: Zeolite increases soil porosity, improving drainage and aeration and preventing compaction problems.
  • Nutrient retention: With its high cation exchange capacity, zeolite gradually retains and releases essential nutrients (K, Ca, Mg), ensuring continuous nutrition for the lawn.
  • Saves on fertilisers: Reduces nutrient leaching, reducing the need for frequent fertilisers, resulting in savings and less environmental impact.
  • Resistance to Water Stress: Acts as a water reservoir, increasing water availability during dry periods, crucial for climates with limited water availability.
  • Increased Microbial Activity: Provides a favourable environment for beneficial microorganisms, essential for nutrient cycling and general soil health.
